Dec 24, 2022
This week, for our final Christmas episode of 2022, the
randomizer goes back to 2020 to pick a piece of Disney+ original
content that continued the grand holiday tradition of the televised
Yule Log. Originally devised in 1966 by television executive Fred
M. Thrower for New York City's WPIX, for over fifty years now the
Yule Log has brought the relaxing, soothing warmth of a crackling
seasonal fireplace into countless households without fireplaces of
their own. And while the staticity of its very nature certainly
makes it an unconventional programming choice, its place in
Christmas culture is undeniable and certainly worth extensive
discussion. Join Tony Goldmark and his very special guests as they
curl up by the Christmas tree with a warm blanket and a mug of hot
cocoa and enjoy the ARENDELLE CASTLE YULE LOG!
